Flavor Profile
Genmaicha is a blend of green tea and roasted rice, known for its mellow taste and toasty aroma. It’s low in bitterness, making it a popular choice for children and those who prefer a gentler tea. The clean, refreshing finish makes it a classic after-meal tea in Japan.

How to Brew
1. Add 1 tsp (~2g) of tea per person (1 tbsp / ~6g for 3 servings) into the teapot. 
2. Pour in 100-130ml of hot water per person (300-360ml for 3 servings).
3. Cover and steep, then pour evenly between cups (1> 2> 3> 3> 2> 1)  

Brew Your Way
1. Light & Toasty: Use near-boiling water (95°C), steep for just 30 seconds
2. Mellow & Creamy: Use slightly cooler water (80°C) and steep longer to extract more starch from the roasted rice

Health Benefits
Rich in catechins and vitamins from green tea, and dietary fiber and B vitamins from roasted rice. It also contains "pyrazine", an aromatic compound not found in green tea, which may help improve sleep quality, reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and promote healthy circulation.

Keep in a cool, dry place without sunlight. 
For long-term storage, freeze unopend and defrost before opening.
