Even first-time tasters are often surprised by its deep flavor. With bitterness kept to a minimum, it offers a well-balanced profile rich in umami, aroma, and vibrant green color.
How to Make Matcha
1. Add 2 grams of matcha powder into a bowl (1 tsp or 2 bamboo tea scoop - chashaku) and distribute the powder evenly
2. Slowly add warm water (70ml) at around 70-80°C to the powder
3. Using a bamboo whisk (chasen) gently whisk until the matcha becomes smooth and all lumps are gone.
4. Enjoy plain or as a latte with your favorite milk.
Tips For Better Result
・Water temperature is important. Boiling water introduces unwanted bitterness.
・Sift the matcha powder using a tea strainer to remove lumps beforehand, which can affect the tea’s smooth texture.
・Soften the whisk in warm water for a few seconds before use.

Keep in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
Best within 1 year unopened; after opening, we recommend enjoying within 1 month for the best aroma and flavor.
